Wakeboarders and waterskiers can find water sports fun throughout New York. Big Apple area schools include Long Lake Wakeboard Camp, NYC Water Ski & Wakeboard School and Global Boarding. Clubs that offer instruction include Pull Long Island and Island Wake Academy. In the Lake George area, there are numerous boat rental options such as Smooth Water Sports, Snug Harbor Marina and Chic's Marina, the latter of which has the lake’s largest rental fleet (including many waterski and wakeboarding boats).

The western part of the state has Roseland Wake Park, the first and only full-size wake park in the northeastern United States! With a full-sized 5-tower system and a 2-tower Lil Bro, Roseland has everything wakeboarders of all skill levels need for a great time on the water.
